Post Graduate Centre ,Kollapur established by Palamuru University Mahabubnagar , with special Efforts taken by Jupally Krishna Rao ( Minister Panchayat raj and Grameena Abhivrudhi ) garu, had started its Operations from academic year 2014-15 with three departments MBA, MSc (Mathematics) and MA (English) and added with another three departments M.COM, MA(Telugu ) and MSW( Social Work) In the academic year 2015-16.
The Department of Business Management at PG Centre, Kollapur Established in November 2014 with an intake of 60. It has been playing a pro-active role in shaping the emerging and dynamic corporate culture believing in imparting quality education to students and in equipping them with the latest in the knowledge and skills to adapt them to the rapidly changing business scenario. The students are selected from Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) held by Telangana State Council for Higher Education. The MBA programme offered by the Department of Business Management is a two-year full time Post Graduate programme that consists of five semesters with specialised area Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Information Systems. Every year the University PG Centre organizes an induction programme for the first year students by the Head of the Department and faculty members with respect to the syllabi in which they deal to make the syllabi familiar to the learners. The students are also made aware of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), the evaluation process followed by the university to ensure that students do not get confused with the evaluation process during their course period. Introductory sessions conducted by faculty members to check students’ development in understanding subject levels. During the introductory sessions the faculty members have a discussion with students regarding the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities conducted by the college. As an integral part of the curriculum, every student takes up project work in final year at an organization with a view to facilitate complimentary learning and greater understanding of real life organisational situations. Students are put through rigorous training by way of classroom lectures, group discussions and other activities. Students were admitted and nine batches completed their degree successfully and are working in different roles at various organizations.
